Diversicare Canada Receives National Award for Quality Excellence – The Order of Excellence Award
The National Quality Institute (NQI) has selected Diversicare Canada as a 2006 recipient of the Order of Excellence Award for continuous Excellence in Quality.
In 2001, Diversicare was awarded the Canada Awards for Excellence in Quality. This award recognizes Canadian organizations which, through a commitment to innovation, productivity, healthy workplace, and ethics, have demonstrated sustainable measures of continuous improvement.
In June, 2006, Diversicare provided a detailed report outlining how the company successfully maintained a focus on excellence over the long term through their Continuous Quality Improvement program. As a result, Diversicare is the proud recipient of the highest level of recognition presented by the NQI, the Order of Excellence Award.
“This prestigious award reflects the contribution of every employee to the company’s Continuous Quality Improvement program,” stated Paul Richardson, President and CEO of Diversicare Canada.
The2006 Order of Excellence award was presented to Diversicare at the Canada Awards for Excellence Summit during the Awards Gala dinner in October at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
