About Us Opened in 1990, Courtyard Garden’s reputation stands in a league of its own due to our Assisted Living and Enhanced Assisted Living (24 hour nursing care) which support our continuum care philosophy of services. We are known for our integrity in providing exceptional services with professional expertise, heart and a caring smile. Our mission is to promote an environment which respects the dignity, independence, and privacy of residents. Our goal is creating quality of life for an individual, creating a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose, and a home where one’s life can blossom.
Services We provide personalized services in a residential environment in Assisted Living apartments as well as the next step in the continuum of care in our Enhanced Assisted Living Community (24 hour nursing care). Assisted Living Services Include: Heat & Hydro Three delicious meals daily with choices of entrée & desserts. Country Kitchen (24 hour snacks available!) Weekly Housekeeping Laundry amenities, including soap Weekly Wellness Clinic Social and recreational activities, including bus trips Protective oversight & security
In addition, we can customize services to suit changing health care needs: Room service Personal laundry and/or linen service Bathing assistance Reminders to take medication Other personalized assistance.
Enhanced Assisted Living Includes: We offer private rooms with 24 hour nursing care- Fully trained nursing staff Round-the-clock assistance Three meals daily Snacks anytime Social Activities Private bed/sitting room Private two piece en suite Laundry & housekeeping services
Accommodations Our accommodations in Assisting Living feature a choice of the following apartment sizes: One bedroom (500 sq feet) Extra large one bedroom or mobility (575 sq feet) One bedroom plus den (650 sq feet) Two bedroom (700 sq feet).
Each apartment is spacious and equipped with a kitchenette featuring a bar sized fridge (great for the 24 hour snack kitchen items!), living room, separate bedroom(s), large bathroom equipped with grab bars, small storage closet in suite and balcony. Each room has emergency buttons to access staff. Heat & hydro controls are located in each room, and can be controlled by the resident to suit their needs. Residents can decorate and furnish their suite as they wish.
Features “A Community Within A Community” Our goal is to bring the outside community services to our residents’ – providing a ‘one stop shopping’ experience. Just outside one’s apartment within the building are a variety of services available to make life easier: banking, footcare, manicures, hair salon, tuck cart, church services, hearing consultants, library room/library services, regular blood pressure clinics, exercise classes, art classes and bus service for scenic drives, shopping trips, picnics and dinner club outings. Where Pets Are Family Too. We welcome pets!

Try Us Out We have a lovely furnished Guest/Respite suite available for those who would like to sample the Courtyard Gardens experience or for those who need some assistance in a caring and supportive environment. It is also a wonderful way for a caregiver to take a break- have a holiday, while we spoil your loved one. Our Guests enjoy a fully furnished suite, complete with living room, bathroom with robes, bedroom featuring two single beds, armoire and vanity table. Included is a fridge, telephone and television for convenient enjoyment. An emergency call button is located in the bedroom, which summons assistance from our professional staff and if need be, access to an on-site nurse 24 hours every day. The Respite Stay includes delicious meals, snacks and recreation programs. We can also customize additional services for those guests with sensitive healthcare needs. Please note that for visiting family and friends, we can offer a ‘Bed & Breakfast’ option. Contact us for availability!

It is comforting to know that you can rely on weekly housekeeping services, laundry amenities and recreational programs. Most importantly, have peace of mind, with access to round the clock security and access to a nurse on-site emergency response. And with our on-site Wellness Clinic, the charming 24 hour Country Kitchen snack room, and a concierge on duty to help with day to day appointments or transportation arrangements, life seems to blossom again. Personalized services can be available to grow with changing health care needs- whether it’s a meal delivered to your room, personal laundry & linen service, medication reminders or help with bathing, we can customize services to suite your needs and wishes. Services are there when you decide they are needed! Nestled on the second floor of Courtyard Gardens, is a lovely garden, the site of many musical concerts, barbecues, refreshments & socializing, and the spot where those with a green thumb can gather.
