In order to fulfill our mission, Diversicare initiated a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program to better ensure quality service to its diverse residents.
The CQI program identifies and evaluates all aspects of Diversicare's care and services. This allows the residents and families to measure and realize improvement in service. The CQI process involves operations, employees, residents and their families. CQI represents a management philosophy and a way of life for all employees and residents, and empowers everyone to work together as a team to improve services.
Our CQI motto is "I Can Do It Better!"
As a result of our CQI Program, Diversicare won the prestigious Canada Award for Excellence in Quality for 2006. Recipients of this Award have to meet the National Quality Institute's rigorous quality criteria, which measures all aspects of the organization's performance from leadership and customer focus to continuous improvement.
Diversicare has continued its focus on Excellence and over the past number of years sustained and enhanced the CQI program. As a result, Diversicare has been awarded the highest level of recognition once again in 2012, The Order of Excellence Award.
“This prestigious award reflects the contribution of every employee to the company’s Continuous Quality Improvement program,” stated Paul Richardson, President and CEO of Diversicare Canada.
